Gordon S. Wood on the Framing of the Constitution and Presentism

While you wait, with bated breath no doubt, for the next episode of The History of the Americans Podcast, you might give a listen to the linked episode of the Age of Jackson podcast. It is an interview of Gordon S. Wood, one of the greatest living scholars of the American Revolution. Professor Wood tells much of interest in the framing of the Constitution, and toward the end laments the rise of presentism and the politicization of history, which of course is music to my ears.
